1) Identify and analyze risk factors for populations residing on federal Indian trust lands
and neighboring non-Indian communities
2) Assist tribal, local, and state entities with integrative efforts to determine the
economic impacts of natural disasters and terror events
3) Promote and develop regionally relevant programs to facilitate
cooperative prevention, preparation, and response to terror events and disasters.
Examples of activities designed to meet these objectives include developing and
implementing regional symposia, coordinating regional networking opportunities,
organizing regional educational workshops, and conducting technical training seminars.
All Working Together for A Safer Tomorrow activities are cooperatively planned by local,
tribal, and state entities. The activities are intended to assist government, academic,
and corporate leaders to recognize and advance strategies for integrated management of disaster and terror events.
